San Francisco Bay Area

The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most diverse and productive regions in the country. Over seven million people live and work in this beautiful region. The variety here means that you can find the right home, but you will need to explore. The different areas are commonly referred to by their relation to the Bay, and each area offers different housing and lifestyle opportunities.

The Peninsula

The Peninsula stretches south from the City and offers a string of pretty towns and older suburbs ideal for family life, relatively easy commutes, and outdoor recreational opportunities.

The town of Vacaville is situated in the rural area to the north and east of the bay. Nearby, Davis hosts a University of California campus and offers the amenities of a college town. With room for new developments, this lovely area boasts the most affordable housing in the Bay Area.

Simply called “the City,” San Francisco offers all the amenities of urban life: restaurants, nightlife, bookstores, cultural festivities. Its many neighborhoods, however, offer a variety of city experiences while its parks and beaches offer ready respite from the urban hustle.

Marin County is well known for its small towns, extraordinary natural beauty and excellent schools.

San Francisco
South Bay/Silicon Valley

From Palo Alto and the heart of Silicon Valley to San Jose’s fine downtown, the South Bay includes charming, well-heeled towns, established suburbs, and affordable apartments – and some of the best public schools in California.

East Bay

Directly east of San Francisco, the East Bay is a huge region that encompasses well established urban areas such as Oakland and Berkeley as well as the new suburban developments of the Tri-Valley.
